This year Andy Bryce has the honour of captaining that fine body of men and boys known as the Bristol & West third team.
Andy is determined that the thirds will be a team where enjoyment, team spirit and achievement form the cornerstone of the 2009/2010 season. Since the formation of the club the thirds has been the team that has worked hardest to develop up and coming players and to help them along their way to higher teams. This has been achieved with a good balance of committed “experienced” players acting as mentors to young players. This will continue this season and some of those young third team players to watch are Baz Cloete, Greg Cox and Craig Bull. No doubt there will be others, such as Bryant jr and Cook jr serving their third team apprenticeships before long.
