Welcome to the official website of Bristol & West Hockey Club.
Bristol and West Hockey Club was formed in the spring of 2008 from the merger of North Bristol and West Gloucestershire hockey clubs, both of whom had long histories of playing hockey in the West Country.
In 2011/12 we will run 7 senior teams playing in various divisions of the Wales and West Men’s League, ranging from North Division 1 to Bristol and North West Somerset Division 3. As well as our various league teams, we have a strong Veterans group entering both 40+ and 50+ competitions, and also a vibrant Junior section, with teams at U11, U14, and badgers U16.
We welcome as new members players, umpires and anyone else interested in hockey in Bristol who would like to be part of our new venture. New members click here to contact us.
All club home matches are at Ridings School, now Winterbourne International Academy (just 10 minutes from junction 1 of the M32). Club training takes place at Colston’s School on a Wednesday night between 18:45 and 20:45.
The 1st and 2nd XIs train at Bradley Stoke Community School on Monday evenings between 20:00 and 21:30.
