MIXED HOCKEY

Following another successful campaign last summer, mixed hockey returns to Bristol & West Hockey Club in 2023! The demand for mixed hockey last year, saw Bristol & West enter the national cup last season, battling through to the 4th round. We look forward to more fun on the pitch this season and a few pints at the pub off it.

With the club thriving and the demand for hockey higher than ever, the men's and women's sides joined forces for some social hockey fun in June and July.

As a result of the demand last year, we've entered two teams in the Thornbury mixed league. We encourage all club members of any level to put their name forward to play some casual hockey in a friendly environment.

"I've been playing at Bristol & West for 5 years and have got to know loads of great people from the men's and women's teams along the way.

With an ever-growing women's contingent and everyone wanting to play as much as possible over the summer, it seemed like the perfect time to revive Bristol & West's mixed team. It's great that we can offer the opportunity to play some social hockey and share a few drinks along the way!

We're looking for players from across the club of all abilities who are interested in getting a run around and having some fun, even if you can only make one of the fixtures."
