Bristol & West is one of the biggest and longest-established hockey clubs in the Bristol area, with roots stretching back to 1893, when we helped found the region's first hockey association from scratch.

Today that same pioneering spirit shows up as six men's teams, four women's teams (Bristol & West Jaspers), a thriving junior section, and dedicated Masters and Mixed hockey too. Our youngest player is 8, our oldest would rather we didn't put a number on it. Whatever your age, ability or ambition, from your first ever session to competitive league hockey, there's a team here that fits.

What matters most to us is the experience: a genuinely friendly club where players, families, volunteers and the wider community all feel part of something. We keep membership costs sensible on purpose, because good hockey shouldn't be out of reach, and we work closely with local schools and businesses to keep the sport growing in Bristol for the next generation.
