After a freezing warm-up in the snow and sleet, B&WJ 2s decided to risk being blown off the face of the earth and smash through a game of hockey.
With jumpers tucked under orange shirts and tracksuit bottoms tucked into socks, the 2s dove into a great game. Quickly winning possession of the ball and playing some smooth passes round the back, we fought hard to get our first goal when a quick pass from Jennie to Kirsty led to a smashing reverse hit up and over the keeper.
After half time Badminton & Pucklechurch came back strong leading to some amazing saves from our goalkeeper and defender of the day, Kerry. With the defence standing strong, we managed to clear the ball back to our attacking half and score another goal with another assist from Jennie to Ella.
The final result was a 2-0 win for B&WJ and there was some great play by all!
