The Bristol and West Jaspers 3s smashed their 3rd league weekend with a 3-1 win against OBs 5s!
The sunny Saturday morning match at Hanham started with a goal right off the bat from Rachel, the 3s captain. There were shouts from the sideline that the 47 second goal was a club record*! The first half of the game ended 1-1 with spirits still high among the girls.
After a positive half time team talk, the 3s entered the second half fighting resulting in goals from Kirsty and Emilia in open play.
The 3s didn’t concede any short corners throughout the game and had a whopping 8 attacking short corners given, unfortunately none resulting in goals.
The final quarter of the game was spent largely in the attacking half leaving nothing for the defence to do! The game ended 3-1 to the Jaspers and Rachel was voted player of the match for her awesome plays at the front!
