An impressive performance from our ever-improving Vixens team saw a narrow 1-2 defeat at the hands of a strong Westberries side.
Having gone behind in the first half, a well-worked equalising goal was celebrated wildly by an exuberant home crowd at the Ridings. The final quarter saw Westberries step up their efforts only to see a number of attacks thwarted by a resolute Vixens defensive line and an excellent goalkeeping performance from Ruby Gold.
A late Westberries penalty corner proved the difference on the scoreboard, but the Vixens have plenty to be proud of as they continue to develop both individually and as a team.
