I have been playing hockey for the club, in its various guises for 42 years, and I am pleased to be given the opportunity to lead the Men’s 6’s this year. 

Last year we took the decision to compete as a development side, which allowed us to play against opponents from the league, but not form part of the league standings. This year we have reverted to playing in the league proper.

Our squad is a mixture of more senior players, and younger players taking their first steps into the world of men’s hockey. Our aims will continue to be to compete against the teams in our league, introduce the younger players to competitive team hockey whilst maintaining a supportive team spirit. Above all, we enjoy the game.

Our motto remains, “Win or lose: pride and a pint!”.
